Apple Leads India’s Premium Market: Records Highest Value Growth in Q3 2025

Apple has achieved the highest value growth in India’s smartphone market during Q3 2025, according to recent industry analysis. The surge was primarily driven by robust sales of the iPhone 15 series, strong demand for premium models, and aggressive retail expansion across major Indian cities.

Strong iPhone 15 Demand Powers Apple’s Growth

The iPhone 15 lineup, especially the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, continued to dominate premium smartphone sales through online and offline channels. Industry reports suggest Apple’s value market share surpassed 25%, marking its best-ever quarterly performance in India. The festive season demand, coupled with cashback offers and EMI plans, further boosted Apple’s position in the high-end segment.

India Becomes a Strategic Growth Market

Apple’s growth reflects the company’s increasing focus on India as a key manufacturing and retail hub. The opening of Apple BKC (Mumbai) and Apple Saket (New Delhi) has strengthened its brand visibility and consumer engagement. Analysts note that Apple’s “Make in India” strategy—which includes assembling iPhones locally through Foxconn and Tata Electronics—has helped the company manage pricing and supply chain challenges effectively.

Competition Tightens in Premium Segment

While Apple led the market in value, competitors like Samsung and OnePlus maintained their positions in volume share within the premium and upper-midrange categories. However, Apple’s higher average selling price (ASP) ensured it captured the majority of revenue in the ₹50,000+ segment.

Analyst Outlook for Q4 2025

Market experts predict that Apple’s growth momentum will continue into Q4 2025, supported by festive discounts, trade-in programs, and the anticipated rollout of iOS 19.2 updates. With India emerging as one of Apple’s top five global markets, the company is expected to expand local manufacturing further and deepen partnerships with Indian suppliers in 2026.
